At Casense, accessible from casense.in, we respect your privacy and are committed to protecting the personal data you share with us. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how it is used, how it is secured, and your rights regarding your data.

We collect only the minimum data necessary to provide and operate the Casense case-directory platform:

• Google OAuth Authentication Data: When you sign in using Google OAuth via Supabase Auth, we receive your basic account profile information provided by Google, including your email address, full name, and avatar/profile image URL. We do not receive or store your Google account password or private Google data.
• Saved Bookmarks: Decks saved via the "Save" feature are stored locally in your browser's localStorage (under the key motionlabs_bookmarks).
• Analyse Tool Inputs: Problem summaries and solution summaries submitted into the Casense Engine are processed transiently to perform evidence-based company matching against our case database.
• Technical & Session Logs: Standard HTTP server logs and essential authentication session tokens (e.g. Supabase session cookies) necessary to verify login credentials and safeguard application endpoints.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information strictly to:

• Authenticate your account and grant access to restricted library decks and analysis tools.
• Persist your authenticated session across page navigation and browser reloads.
• Process case problem and solution inputs to calculate deterministic company match scores.
• Maintain database security, prevent API abuse, and enforce authorization policies.

3. Third-Party Service Providers

We rely on trusted third-party cloud infrastructure providers to run Casense:

• Supabase (Supabase Inc.): Our backend database, user authentication service, and object storage for case PDF assets. User auth metadata is managed securely within Supabase Auth.
• Google Cloud (Google LLC): Google OAuth 2.0 provider used for secure user authentication.

4. Cookies and Local Storage

Casense uses strictly necessary session cookies and browser localStorage:

• sb-*-auth-token: Essential Supabase authentication cookie for keeping you logged in.
• motionlabs_bookmarks: Local storage item maintaining your saved case deck identifiers on your device.

We do not use advertising, marketing, or cross-site tracking cookies.

5. Data Rights & Account Deletion

You have the right to inspect, export, or request deletion of your account information. You can log out at any time to terminate your active session, or contact our team to request complete erasure of your profile record from our Supabase user store.
